Hey, I’m Monique!

Monique was born and raised as an only child in Cebu City, Philippines. Growing up from a conservative family, her values and beliefs are anchored mostly in her Catholic upbringing. She enjoys writing all sorts of literature like songs, poems, essays, novels, and many more. As much as she adores writing lyrics, she also loves to sing and make music. 

When she’s not blogging, she spends her day babysitting her nieces and nephews at her cousins’ and going on road trips with her family. Monique makes it her ultimate goal to help young adults like her navigate life in their twenties. With every piece of advice, she provides a fresh insight into dilemmas and issues you are yet to experience in school or at home. From amateur writing tips to relationship pep talks, she’s the older sister you wished you have.
