Hardest First 6 Months of Blogging: How to Succeed Gracefully

Being an influencer/blogger/content creator/freelance writer is a novel career path to pursue. It’s a job that only existed recently, and despite its lucrative ways of earning money, is still being frowned upon by many. Producing unique, helpful content for anyone’s disposal is unfortunately branded as NOT a “real, serious, or sustainable form of livelihood.” Having this tarnished reputation and stigma on the blogging industry puts a heavier burden on any blogger as if the entire process isn’t already hard enough. Aside from the struggle of proving the world wrong, the majority of new bloggers quit before six months because they don’t find joy in what they’re doing.

Start 2021 The Right Way By Doing These 10 Things

Most people are so devastated by how 2020 played out uniquely in their lives that they can’t wait to move on and start anew. Everyone is pumped about 2021, ready to let go of the horrific versions of themselves and the trials that made them that way. Unfortunately, some of them may be under the assumption that 2021 is the year that everything is going back to normal, but the likelihood of that happening is close to impossible.

The world is still a mess; we’re all adjusting to the “new normal” way of life while some deliberately refuse to be enslaved by the massive changes. Although some countries are slowly recovering, some are still having a hard time solving the problems in their own nations. This year doesn’t guarantee a complete opposite of 2020, but it does provide a fresh new start for ourselves. The new year allows us to make choices (hopefully the right ones this time), chase our dreams undauntingly, and love the rest of humanity in the best way we can.

Blessings I'm Taking with Me in 2021

By the time you’re reading this, it’s already the last day of 2020. You’re shaking in excitement as you anticipate a fresh new start for your life and for everyone else’s. You’re taking a look at your 2021 planner and can’t help but feel emotional as you ready yourself for more, upgraded challenges that will cut you open.

But before you pour all your energy into bettering yourself, it’s essential you understand that just as any new year, 2021 doesn’t give you a clean slate. The new year doesn’t mean everyone goes back to zero, free from past mistakes and baggage. Your journey will go on, as it always had. Your new year’s traditions will not erase nor will it give you leverage over others. You will still be struggling, and every single day won’t feel as great as the other days. But with your perseverance and concrete goals right in your pockets, you’re one step ahead of making your dreams a reality.

Has Christmas Lost Its Value in 2020?

Aside from the obvious reason why 2020 is arguably the worst year ever in your lifetime, you tend to ask yourself, “Has Christmas lost its value in 2020?”

The answer is: NO. Christmas hasn’t lost its value, its zing, its excitement, its intrinsic brightness; it will never lose all the things that make it beautiful. It’s we, who have lost the appreciation and gratitude to see its value. It’s we who have ironically outgrown the idea of Christmas, thinking it’s celebrated solely for kids (leaving no room for the adults to be happy). It’s we who have made self-centered definitions about Christmas that tainted its meaning through our eyes.
